Parnell Markets: What's on this Saturday in Auckland

18 March 2023 – What’s on in Auckland. 

One of our most beloved vendors is Don Hooper, also known as the Gelato guy. Don is a Parnell identity who has lived in the area for many years, and he loves his job at the markets. He will be rolling the Gelato again tomorrow from 8am to 1pm, and we invite you to come and taste his delicious creations. Look out for the Parnell Market signs, listen for the sounds of Jaz Patterson, or just follow your nose to find him at 69 St Georges Bay Rd. We are located in front of the Buono Deli.

But Don’s not the only reason to visit Parnell Markets tomorrow. We have an amazing line-up of vendors, including Anatolia Kitchen for Turkish dips, Billy’s Smoked Fish for the best smoked fish in the world, and Philippe’s Patisserie for delectable delights. Dough Boys will be serving up fresh bread and pastries, while Juju Juice will be juicing fresh fruits right before your eyes. You can also grab a slice of genuine Italian pizza from Pizza a Casa or try some of Salash’s aged, dried, and smoked delicatessen meats. And if you need a break from all the food, chat to the team from Dove Cote House Bed & Breakfast. They run a beautiful old-style home Bed and Breakfast built in the early 1900s. It’s a true hidden gem within the city limits.

In addition to the amazing vendors, we also have Emily Hubert Chiropractor offering free assessments to help you feel fine and Feels Good Organic Farm with Vinnie’s produce, a favourite among Parnell residents. J’s Coffee will be serving up coffee with more drink options than you can imagine, and Buono Delicatessens will be offering sliced meat, sliced cheese, coffee, cabinet, and restaurant.
